This game was made by a single developer for the Scream Secrets Game Jam 2024 with the theme "it's been there all along." Consider this initial version more of a demo as I still plan to add a lot to the game and the story.

I really like this game idea! I just got done playing it and it has a strong creepy vibe that is so good. I enjoy the mix of text based gameplay and interactions. When I was turning on the lamp... I saw what was in the closet 😳... but I ignored it like the computer instructed. Haha. Great game so far, dude. I look forward to the full release.
Thanks so much for the positive feedback! I've had a lot of fun working on it and I'm looking forward to releasing the completed version. I've already added a zork-inspired navigation system that I'm really stoked to show off soon-ish. Also of course this game wouldn't be half as good without your incredible audio assets!
